Athol Deed Filings Show Wide Price Spread as Most Sales Prices Go Undisclosed
The Worcester County Registry of Deeds recorded 11 Athol property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, all dated July 31. Only four listed a sale price, ranging from $19,511 to $310,000, with a median of $100,000 among those disclosed. The top transaction was a $310,000 family transfer from Patricia Burbee to Cullen A. and Patrick A. Burbee; no street address was listed. Six of the 11 deeds involved a bank, credit union or mortgage servicer as buyer or seller. With seven of 11 prices undisclosed, the data does not support a clear read on market direction this period.
