Athol Property Transfers Show Wide Price Gaps as Most Deeds Omit Sale Price

The Worcester County Registry of Deeds recorded 14 Athol property transfers between July 24 and Aug. 22, but only five listed a sale price. Disclosed prices ranged from $1,804 to $177,058, with a median of $55,000. The period's top transaction was 190 Adams Dr., which sold for $177,058 on July 27 to LoanDepot.com LLC and Dart Collateral Manager LLC. Eleven of the 14 recorded deeds named a bank, mortgage servicer, credit union or the Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems as a party, a pattern that spans both priced and unpriced transactions this period.
