Library Opens Cosplay Duck Contest Submissions This Week

Friday, July 3, The Athol Public Library will close early today at 1:30 p.m., consistent with its Friday schedule, and will remain closed Monday, July 6, in observance of Independence Day. Regular hours resume Tuesday, July 8.

Tuesday, July 1 (in effect), New library hours took effect this week at 568 Main Street. The library now operates Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to varying closing times, with Friday hours running 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to check the library's website or call (978) 249-9515 for the full updated schedule.

Coming up, Tuesday, July 7, 3:30–4:30 p.m., The library hosts "Can You Spot the AI?", a program inviting participants to sharpen their eye for artificial-intelligence-generated content. The session runs one hour at the Main Street branch.

Coming up, Tuesday, July 7 through Friday, July 31, The library's "Cosplay Ducks!" activity opens for submissions beginning Tuesday. Residents can drop off their decorated duck entries through noon on July 31.
