Athol Deed Data Shows Wide Price Gap as Most September Sales Await Figures
Athol recorded 12 property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, but sale prices have posted for only two so far: $7,559 for 429 Hapgood St. and $225,750 for 0 Exchange St., the period's top recorded sale. The other 10 transfers, including two on Exchange Street and several involving mortgage-related entities, estates or trusts, show no price yet, which typically reflects the registry's normal reporting lag rather than withheld information. With price data covering just two of 12 transfers, this dataset doesn't yet support a read on whether the local market is active or quiet.
