ATHOL -- Fourteen property transfers were recorded at the Worcester County Registry of Deeds for Athol between June 26 and July 25, but only five carried a sale price at the time records were compiled, with the top sale, a $485,000 purchase on New Sherborn Road, standing well above the rest of the field.

A fifth parcel, listed only as located in Athol with no street address given, sold for $34,400 on June 29. Sellers Alexander L. Dixon and Flavia Dixon transferred the property to Cornerstone Bank.
