Sale Prices Mostly Not Yet Recorded As Athol Records 13 Property Transfers
Athol recorded 13 property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only one deed, for 31 Charles Pl., had a sale price recorded: $25,000, sold by Mary Simmington to Workers Federal Credit Union. That single figure also stands as the period's price range and median, since no other transaction included pricing information. Two deeds were recorded for addresses on Wallingford Avenue on the same day, July 17. Nine of the 13 transfers listed a bank, credit union, mortgage servicer or the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency as a party, a pattern visible in the deed records but not otherwise explained by the data.
